welcome to living room!
Living Room is the young adults ministry of Big House that meets every Monday of the month (except holidays). We are a community that pursues a life together through worship, the study and discussion of God’s word, and fellowship - both in and outside our meeting time. We desire to see greater sanctification for the individual and communal maturity as we pursue relationship with God and each other. Our hope is that all who come encounter God in a powerful, revelatory, and transformative way.
Living Room Schedule
We meet on Mondays at alternating locations, with some special events here and there and days off for holidays when applicable! See our regularly updated schedule below for our meeting times and locations.
SERVICE NIGHTS:
Mondays @ 7-9pm at the BH Offices at 3177 Virginia Beach Blvd on 2nd floor.
Come to worship Jesus and receive teaching and encouragement from our LR leadership team!
OPEN HOUSE NIGHTS:
Mondays @ 6-9pm at Justin + Liz’s house at 206 Maryland Ave Norfolk (or otherwise noted).
Come hang anytime after 6pm! Bring your homework, fave games to play, dinner, or just yourself! These nights have no agenda other than to fellowship together.

Open House + Concert | 11/17
For Monday, November 17, we will host Open House at our home in Norfolk, then around 7-7:15 a bunch of people will head over to the Will Reagan concert at 7:30pm at Coalescence Coffee (5 minutes from our house!) Get your tickets and you can use the code “student discount” for those in school!
Christmas Open House | 12/1
Come join us for holiday jubilation. Food, drinks, and hot cocoa provided, but please register and bring a side/drink to share. We’ll also be taking a walk around West Ghent neighborhood to look at Christmas lights, so dress warm!
Meet your young adult Pastors
We are Justin and Elizabeth (Liz) Montgomery, and it is our honor to lead young people to fall in love with Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. Our heart is to see confident, healthy, and whole sons & daughters of God become more like Jesus, and thus more fully themselves.
Every week, we see God show up in and through this amazing group of young people in our community. Come be a part of the beautiful body of Christ.
