Welcome to Big House Kids!
We offer kids ministry for infants through 5th grade. If it’s your first time, our Big House Kids staff will take your personal information: parent’s names, children’s names, birthdates, phone number, and any special instructions at kids check-in. Children will be offered snacks and refreshments, so please advise us of allergies or dietary restrictions.
what to expect in big house kids
During class, your child can expect spirit-filled teaching, a time of musical worship, AND FUN! While in our care, your child’s safety is paramount. All our volunteers pass a background check and go through a training process to volunteer. We also implement a tag system with the guardian’s number for check in, which helps us reach parents who are in the sanctuary. Additionally, we have a paid security officer and safety team in place to ensure our kids areas are properly monitored and kept safe.

Serving as Kids Director continues to be an enormous blessing and a great joy and honor. My wife, Alex, and I are continually excited to share about who God is, and who we are in Christ with the next generation. I also have the honor of crafting the curriculum for Big House Kids; a curriculum that focuses on learning about the character of God as seen through the Old Testament and the New Testament, and how we can have a relationship with Him today (Hebrews 13:8). The Lord is moving powerfully in the lives of these children. They are quickly learning to access the authority given to them in and through the Holy Spirit. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your children's journey. We love this ministry and are so expectant for what the Lord is going to do in and through it in the years to come.

I have called this church home for the last 3 1/2 years and there is simply no place I would rather be! I have the honor of serving and loving our young adults on Living Room leadership, previously leading and discipling high school girls at a local district through a ministry called Young Life. I have worked in education administration at different capacities through the years, am a Theology student at Regent University, and reside in beautiful Norfolk! I am passionately devoted to intercession for this house, this ministry, our BH kids and families. My heart is ignited for the fruit born out of what is cultivated in the secret place, worship in spirit and in truth, and I believe that access extends to ALL ages! I am thrilled to partner with our Big House kids and families.
